Security

One of our main goals here at ACL is for kids to feel loved and to be safe. To ensure their safety, we have a registration process for every child who attends our children’s ministries. Additionally, each volunteer submits a background check. Two adults are always present in any classroom with kids.

Here’s how it works for parents:

When you arrive on Sundays, there will be a table where you can sign your children in. Each child will be given a nametag with both parents’ signatures on the back.

The whole family will head into church, and kids will be dismissed to their classes from the service.

When you pick up your kids afterwards, you’ll be asked to sign them out.

We’ll keep their nametags, which the teachers can use to match the signatures of parents they don’t know yet. This ensures we are properly accountable for every child who comes to Sunday school.

This safeguard measure is designed to protect our kids, our teachers, and to give parents peace of mind.
